Under the California Center for Media Arts and Democracy, I worked on the Mutual Aid project as part of the Links on the Chain podcast, supporting the production of two episodes centered on community-led support networks. I conducted background research, coordinated logistics and communication with key interviewees, and led field interviews to capture clear, story-driven audio.
In post-production, I edited and assembled episodes from raw interviews and field recordings, using Adobe Audition and Adobe Premiere Pro in tandem to clean up audio, level, and adjust pacing. I conducted and structured interviews across the project, researching and curating thoughtful questions to guide conversations and draw out clear, compelling narratives around mutual aid and community organizing.
The project was later presented at the 2025 Imagining America National Conference, where we shared our research and production process.
Across the project, my focus was on creating an engaging listening experience while honoring the voices of participants through careful editing, clarity, and respectful narrative structure.
