As a Student Research Assistant for the Dean of Student Services, I was asked to develop a brochure introducing the college’s new Dream Center. Without formal design training at the time, I independently applied branding principles, layout structure, and visual hierarchy to create a clear, welcoming informational piece.
The brochure outlined available services, legal partnerships, and campus resources for undocumented students. I balanced institutional branding with an approachable tone, incorporating imagery, iconography, and structured text blocks to improve readability and accessibility.
This project marked an early step in my transition from research support into visual communication and marketing.

I developed Instagram graphics and Story content to communicate campus announcements, health updates, and student service resources. Working within existing brand guidelines, I focused on bold typography, high contrast, and clear messaging optimized for mobile viewing.
Created in 2021 during the transition back to in-person instruction, these graphics supported timely communication around campus services and health updates. This experience deepened my interest in marketing and digital communication within higher education.
